If you wish to take part and get payment from this settlement, you must submit your claim form by July 12, 2011. You can take part if you were a Halifax Building Society Memebr and you were not given free shares in the PLC conversion. You can download the claim form at the settlement website. If you wanted to either exclude yourself from the settlement or even object to the settlement, the deadline was May 12, 2011. So this means that you can no longer do so now. The Final Hearing was held on May 26, 2011.
If you decide to do nothing in the Halifax PLC Conversion Class Action Lawsuit Settlement at www.gilardi.com/halifax, you will not get any compensation or payment. You will also not be able to do anything else because in essence you have given up all your rights. You cannot sue the company on your own if you wish to do so.
