Rebecca Black - Rebecca Black Teams Up With Katy Perry

Rebecca Black, the 13-year-old internet sensation who rocketed to fame after her song 'Friday' went viral, has teamed up with Katy Perry for the pop superstar's new video. Rebecca Black, who was largely ridiculed for her auto-tuned hit, appears in the teaser video for Perry's track 'Last Friday Night', reports the Washington Post. In the new clip, Perry's alter ego 'Kathy Beth Terry' attends a house-party where Black is spotted dancing with friends. The teaser video appears to be a homage to Black's 'Friday', with a school poster featured in the opening seconds of the clip using the same font as Black's 'homework book'. A line featured in Perry's video is also reminiscent of Rebecca's "fun, fun, fun, fun" refrain. American talk show hosts Conan O Brien, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert have already recorded parodies of the 13-year-old's song, while the cast of Glee performed a rendition of the song during their prom-themed episode. 'Friday' was officially released in March 2011, selling around 40,000 downloads in its first week of sales. It peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 58 before making it to number 61 on the UK Singles Chart. Rebecca Black's infamous video has received over 161 million views on YouTube, with 439,000 'likes' and 3 million 'dislikes'.
